Thanks for making this a great event!

Organized by volunteers and friends of the Greater Nashville Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

When and where is this event?
Come join us April 19, 2008 at Clarksville's Beachaven Vineyards and Winery as we ride along the Pennyrile Plateau and through the Red River basin with distances of 10, 25, and 50 miles. Don't ride a bike? No problem, a short 3 mile route is designated for runners and walkers or bikers of any experience level. Everyone can participate!

Why should I get involved?
This year, more than 211,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer and nearly 40,000 will die. Susan G. Komen for the Cure is working to reduce those numbers both locally and globally and to make a difference in the lives of the women, and men, behind the numbers. Until there's a cure, we RIDE!

Where does the money raised go?
A minimum of 25% of the net income from the Ride supports the National Susan G. Komen for the Cure Award and Research Grant Program, which funds groundbreaking breast cancer research, meritorious awards, scientific and educational conferences around the world.

What are the local benefits of my participation?
Up to 75% of the net income from the Ride stays in the Greater Nashville, 11 County service area to fund breast health education and breast cancer screening and treatment projects.

What is the Susan G. Komen for the Cure "Promise"?
What started as a simple promise between 2 sisters has become our driving force - Our Promise is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures. We are constantly striving to fulfill the needs of our community through research, education and prevention. Please join us!
